A light gray 2K epoxy resin filler with a wide range of applications. It has a very low specific weight with a density of 0.5-0.7 g/l (lighter than water). It cures quickly, is easy to sand, and is water-resistant! After mixing, the filler has a pot life of approximately 15 to 25 minutes. After 6 to 7 hours of curing at 20°C, the filler can be sanded with a P80 to P280 grit sandpaper. It has excellent adhesion to sheet steel, (cast) iron, aluminum, and fiberglass components. It is also suitable for removing osmosis damage from fiberglass boats.

Instructions for use
Sand the surface to which the filler will be applied and remove any dust. Ensure there is no rust, grease, dirt, or (loose) paint residue. If in doubt, degrease the surface with a clean cloth for better adhesion. Apply the desired amount of filler to the putty knife and mix it with approximately 50% hardener for the best result. Try not to work the filler for longer than 15 to 25 minutes, as drying grains may develop in the filler after this time. After 6 to 7 hours of curing, the filler can be sanded. If the temperature is below 20°C, the curing time will be longer. After curing and sanding, the Nautic filler can be finished directly with almost any paint system.
For steel or aluminum boats, a 2K anti-corrosion primer should be applied before filling.
CAUTION: Never mix too much hardener! Excessive hardener won't speed up the process, but it can actually cause the paint layer to delaminate or change color.
Storage and processing advice
- Preferably process between +18°C and +25°C
- Do not process below +5°C
- Store at +20°C in a closed (airtight) container for at least 12 months
